I’m almost afraid to leave Nate a good review because I don’t particularly want everyone else booking him.

I build the portals and automation that keep busy teams running.
Building for businesses since 2009. Tell me what's slowing your team down and I'll show you what I'd build.

Every card is a real recording of the thing running. Most of them you can try right now: the demos run on sample data, so click around.
PortalsA private login for customers, investors or staff to get things done without calling you.
Internal toolsCRM, scheduling, billing, payroll and documents in one place instead of five.
DashboardsYour numbers and pipeline in one live view, not a spreadsheet rebuilt every Monday.
AutomationThe tools you already pay for, talking to each other, so nobody copies data by hand.
A private lending firm runs its loans on one platform: investor and borrower portals, ACH payments and QuickBooks reconciliation that used to be manual. The demo shows the same system with sample data.
One secure login that replaced a company's separate tools for CRM, scheduling, Stripe billing, payroll and documents.
A chat assistant that answers visitors' questions from the business's own live content, instead of making things up.
A WordPress plugin I built that finds and fixes accessibility problems in the site itself, plus a toolbar for visitors. Built and live-tested; it's in WordPress.org review now.
A live store checkout that sells one-time and yearly software licenses through a single Stripe checkout.
An AI receptionist you can talk to in your browser. It answers questions and books appointments for a sample dental office.

A marketing platform I built for running campaigns across several client accounts from one place.
Automated workflows that move data between business apps, so nobody copies it by hand.
Submit a form and watch AI read it and send it to the right place automatically.
Paid, per-task automations moved onto a self-hosted tool the business owns, so the monthly bill stops growing with every task.
An AI step dropped into an everyday workflow, so incoming documents and requests get read and acted on automatically.
An online store set up end to end: products, checkout and the back office behind it.
An Android app and web backend that filters a phone's web traffic and alerts a chosen accountability partner if protection is turned off, with a daily check-in. In testing now.

Nate rebuilt a huge chunk of our backend and the quality of the work was consistently excellent.

I would love you to be my next five-star review!

I've been building for businesses since 2009, when I started Kramer Web Design and made websites and web tools for local companies. Early on I built my own online store from scratch (storefront, catalog and checkout) before WooCommerce even existed.
I also spent five years in furniture sales at Value City Furniture. It taught me how people actually decide to buy, and I still build with that in mind: the software has to make sense to the person using it, not only to me.
Since February 2026 I've done this full-time as a senior software developer at Merkra, building portals, internal tools and automation for teams with a lot of moving parts.
I live in Portage, Indiana, and work with people across Chicagoland and anywhere else over a call. If you've got a process your team hates doing by hand, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
